Looking through my photos of Transylvania for my recent post on Romania’s medieval towns, I found myself lingering over the pictures of the countryside, sighing as I remembered green fields, big skies, and the charm of Transylvania’s rustic life. Of course the towns are amazing but don’t forget to look out your window as you hop from place to place. Transylvania is one of the places where the trip itself is a joy.
Still not sold on why you should visit Transylvania? Well, here are some of the picturesque things you might see!
Why visit Transylvania? When was the last time YOU saw horse and cart merging into traffic?
